Kota Joe Roadhouse is a family-orientated roadhouse with branches in Edenvale, Boksburg, Wonderboom (Pretoria), and Alberton, South Africa. Kota Joe is not a franchise.

The Services may include:

• Menus, locations, opening information, promotions, and brand content
• Contact and newsletter forms
• Customer accounts (sign-in, profile)
• Gift vouchers and related payment flows, when enabled
• Loyalty or games features, when enabled
• An on-site chatbot for general information about Kota Joe

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Menu items, prices, hours, and availability may change without notice and may differ by store.

Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

We may use email magic links and/or passwords to authenticate you. Do not share sign-in links or passwords. We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.

When gift vouchers are available for purchase on the Services, payment is processed by our third-party payment provider (such as PayFast or a successor). Additional provider terms may apply at checkout.

Voucher validity, redemption rules, and any exclusions will be stated at purchase or on the voucher itself. Vouchers are generally redeemable at participating Kota Joe Roadhouse stores subject to those rules. Unless required by law, vouchers are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash.

We do not sell food or beverages for online delivery through the Services. Payment at our stores may include cash, major credit cards, and South African bank phone tap and QR payments. We do not accept American Express.

• No delivery: we do not deliver. We invite you to visit our stores for the full roadhouse experience.
• No reservations: we operate first-come, first-served. We do not take table reservations through the Services.
• No alcohol: we do not sell alcohol.
• Dine-in: you may enjoy our deck areas and in-car tray service where available at each store.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services unlawfully or in a way that harms us, our staff, customers, or systems
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or infrastructure
• Scrape, overload, or disrupt the Services
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content
• Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited marketing
• Reverse engineer or copy the Services except as allowed by law

All content on the Services — including text, branding, logos, menus, photographs, and design — is owned by or licensed to Kota Joe Roadhouse. You may not copy, distribute, or modify it without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.

Images of food and ambiance are illustrative. Actual items may vary in presentation, portion size, or availability.

If you submit content (including images or feedback), you confirm you have the rights to do so and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our business and marketing, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Our chatbot and website content are provided for general information. Opening hours, prices, and promotions can change. If something is important (for example, allergen information or a large group visit), please confirm with the relevant store via contact or phone.

Do not submit sensitive personal information through the chatbot. Automated tools may assist with some answers; see our Privacy Policy for details.

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Nothing on the Services constitutes a binding offer to sell specific menu items online unless we expressly state otherwise (for example, for gift vouchers at checkout).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kota Joe Roadhouse and its owners, staff, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable South African law (including liability for fraud or gross negligence where such exclusion is not permitted).

How we collect and process personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us when you use the Services. Under POPIA you have rights of access, correction, objection, and (subject to law) deletion, and you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Subject to any mandatory consumer protections, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
