Cool Roadhouse, dono so much about their Kotas being authentic, quite an original take on it, although they were tasty. I'd give this another shot, Staff were a bit slow to pay attention though. Ill be showing up to try the milkshakes next time as they have a good reputation from a friend of mine and I'll provide more feedback after.

This restaurant has been a favorite of our family since moving to Boksburg 3 years ago and we've never had issues. Great service and amazing food. The little one loves his milkshake Cups and balloon. Tonight we had a little glitch where one item was left behind by mistake but was handled promptly and resolved instantly by their brilliant manager, Shaun! Highly recommended!

Amazing milkshakes, and the cotas and burgers are amazing, please do yourself a favor and go around and either dine in or go to to the park and serve eat in your car they bring your food to you, very friendly service.
Food quality, and portion size is absolutely worth it. They do not skimp, food is hot and fresh and quality never disappoints. You get what you pay for. Love eating from here when I’m in the area

Just want to say thank you for the lovely food at Kota Joe in Boksburg — everything was fresh and delicious! A special thank you to the owner who went out of his way to assist us when my car wouldn’t start. We later discovered the key battery was flat, but he was so kind and willing to help. Really appreciate the great service and hospitality. Highly recommended! 😊
I have a agreement with my boyfriend to promise to take me there atleast once a mont, sometimes I'm lucky and he takes my twice...i would go there every day if had millions of rands to spend ! The prices are amazing when we have something to eat and drink and sometimes we buy 3 different things to eat and it is NEVER more than R400.00... i would be kota joes mascot if i can it is my most favorite place ever!! Even some waiters know us when we get there they are friendly and always helpful! I hope Kota Joe never closes so i can take my kids one day and get them hooked as well

Kota Joe Roadhouse is a solid stop for a satisfying kota. Big portions, bold flavours and great value for money. Not fancy, but it hits the spot when you want proper comfort street food.
Had the most delicious ice-cream and nachos in a beautifully presented bowl. Service was good. Inside seating in the late afternoon could be improved by installing awnings to shield the tables from direct sunlight as it becomes uncomfortable with the sun shining directly into the seating area, causing one to have to move around to keep the sun out of your eyes. Otherwise, a winner and a pleasure to visit and enjoy from their wonderfully presented menu and variety of dishes. The staff are welcoming, accommodating and pleasant to deal with.
The ferrero rochè milkshake was so delicious 10/10 overall everything was good
