This vibe is the one. Best entertainment while waiting for food. I mean they have nice sound plus big screen showing funny videos 😂
Absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Will be back for sure.
We went there on a Wednesday, they were not that busy in the seating area, but the drive in area got quite busy quite quickly, we were 4 people and we sat outside, they have one outside area that's completely open for smokers, the ither side has windows and then the centre is completely closed off inside, we went straight to a table on the outside and the staff was there with us immediately to give us the menus, we ordered and not even 20 min later we got all of out food and drinks, they also have a milkshake special on Wednesday, where if you biy a certain kind you get another free, we ate and were extremely satisfied with the food, each of our meals were around R110 and the milkshake was R40, so it's not that pricey at all, we got the check right after eating and it was around R600 for all 4 people, we left a R30 tip and got a doggy bag as well, this is definitely the place to eat if you want good food, I would definitely recommend it to anyone asking for a delicious meal.
Food was average. Great burger let down by below average patty. Chips was amazing. Shake a letdown for a R105 desert. Had high hopes.
The food is great, the reason I'm eating their service at 2 stars because ordered Jozi Kota with atchaar but they gave me chakalaka instead and I don't like chakalaka, I asked the waiter(forgot his name) several times and he ensured me that it is atchaar but when I got home it was chakalaka and I was not happy ☹️

We are regulars there and after last night i really dont feel like going there more regulary anymore their food is great but their service these days are getting really pathetic its between the waiters and the person who is making your drinks last night once again this is now the second time that this has happend and i wont go for a third time when we ordered our food we decided to get drinks as we are sitting and waiting we spesifically told the waiter that we want our drinks first thing, we waited and waited just to see here comes our food with no drinks and i had some words with this waiter then after that he went to collect our drinks, drinks came after the food while we asked to bring it first but no they would rather stand there and chit chat with each other other than making sure customers get their drinks. Wont make a fool out of me again. Better make work on your service delivery or soon you will start losing customers

Deserves a full 10/10. The food ALWAYS is fantastic. Great service and amazing lovely vibe. Love it when the handful of waiters take a jive every now and then (far and few between).
I highly recommend this Roadhouse and you should try their Kotas, it was the best Kota I've ever had, 10/10! The staff were friendly and cool looking. The interior decor was amazing, very clean. I'm impressed

Super cool experience, it's quite unique. S/O to Prudence for serving us, he tips on the milkshake was great and ok going for hot wings instead of extra hotel 😅.

The issue came when the car behind me received her order & I had to move out and back again in line.
Very good food as always. Milkshakes are probably in the top 2 or 3 i have ever had.
Vibrant spot, dine in your car or in a modern seating area. I specifically go to this place for the Ferrero milkshake.
Chips with creamy cheese and garlic a must have. Definitely worth the money and delicious.
Prego beef with chips and hot sauce was also just as good. Their dagwoods on toasted bread always a winner.

Best milkshakes on the planet, hands down. Kotas are massive too, so screw the diet as they say
great if you are really hungry and the have an excellent atmosphere for a type of road house setup, I also enjoy watching the big screen with all the info and a couple of laughs
Had a team lunch here today and great value for money. The waitress was little slow and non responsive but the food was great.
We had a wonderful time and the Jozi Cota Joe was AMAZING.

Service is always friendly and quick.
Food is hot, fresh and enough to satisfy the greatest hunger. My go to is the Roast Beef Kota & iced coffee.

Good servicr, stunning milkshakes & good food. Did find it a bit pricey but lovely inside - not your "average" roadhouse.
We LOVE milkshakes for here ... whenever we think we ha e tried all the flavours, they bring out a couple of new ones.
Staff was very active and helpful...Food was filling and well made, and I will definitely visit again with the family

Always good tasting food, wide selection too but the best is a beef shawarma kota.

The portions are big, and the pricing is not bad. You do wait a while for the food, but it's definitely worth it
Our St-1 Car crew planned a meet here for and we were all carefully attended to.

The manager had made special provisions to allow my Medical Alert assistance dog to be granted entry, due to his calm demeanor and being well trained and behaved.
As one of the groups mascots this was received very well by all members.
Kota Joes is definitely going to receive continued patronage from myself and the rest of the ST-1 crew.
I thank and commend the staff and waiters for being so tolerant and thank the manager for making this possible upon us having been given permission.
PS: Midnight thoroughly enjoyed spending time here with the Kota Joes team

The restaurant is very nice to visit, has its own signature i.t.o. the eats they have on their, and has the South African "touch", particularly on their unique "Kota".
The dancing puppets are a cherry on top, they really draw attention.
The one thing (I think) that can be improved is the drink that are served in glasses that are said to be 500 ml: it's really not so convincing.

I absolutely enjoy every single moment we spend at Kota Joe. The waiters are super friendly and every single time we get there they always make sure that we are attended to with great and speedy service. The atmosphere is amazing! If you haven't been there I would definitely recommend that you go! You will not be disappointed!

For what we had it was delicious. Chicken strip basket and Rib basket. Friendly staff, quick service and you can sit in your car and enjoy your meal while listening to music or watching the big screen... Make a turn and see yourself..
Absolutely great vibe with even better food ! You can dine in your car or get out and enjoy the music in their own dine in area.
The outside seating area is pretty cool, all facebrick but cold if the weather is not great.
Tables were terribly dirty, asked for wet wipes to clean it myself.
Waiter was not too sure about the menu...that was weird, so we figured out the stuff on the menu ourselves.
